Preparing for a interview

If you have been invited by a employer for a interview then that is a positive step, it means you have passed the first hurdle. What this means is that the company have seen something in your application form that they like. The next step for you is to get past the second stage and that is the job interview.

Now you can help yourself a lot by preparing in detail for any upcoming interview. On this page we will give you career advice and tips on how to prepare for a job interview.

The first thing you should do is to put yourself in the interviewers shoes.

You should also look in detail at the diversity job description (or whatever vacancy it is) being advertised. What work and duties will the role entail, what qualifications are required. Then make a list of how you can do what is written down in the job description, memorize these points so you can stress them during the interview.
