An exciting opportunity has arisen at the RFL, the national governing body for Rugby League in the UK. As part of our commitment to Equality and Diversity (E&D), the RFL has established an Advisory Group to support the delivery of the E&D plan. The aim of the group is to provide advice on the development, implementation and evaluation of the RFL’s approach to Equality and Diversity.

In addition, the group will also provide expert advice to the RFL Board and Executive on specific issues that impact on Equality and Diversity delivery for groups defined as having protected characteristics under the provisions of the Equality Act 2010.

The aim of the E&D plan in 2019 is to continue to grow the sport of Rugby League within our communities. To help us to achieve this and the other objectives of the plan, we are now seeking to expand membership of the Advisory Group.

The Rugby Football League has proud record in relation to Equality and Diversity. If you have previous experience of providing strategic advice on issues related to E&D or have knowledge or skills related to this area, we would be very interested in hearing from you.

The group meets at least twice a year and reasonable expenses will be paid to Advisory Group members.
